The Pilgrim’s Purse

Every pilgrim carries a small purse on the journey.
Not heavy with riches, but enough to share bread,
to keep the lantern lit,
to take another step along the way.

This writing is my offering to fellow travelers.
I have set these words here freely,
for I believe truth should not hide behind walls.

Yet if you would like to place something in the purse—
an offering of appreciation,
a gift to sustain the writing—
you are welcome to do so here:

More than silver coin,
your prayers, your presence, your company on the road
remain the greatest gift.

Thank you for walking with me.
