Latest Waymark
The road goes on from yester-ways. This is where it last turned – where I last paused to write a new waymark, for those who’ve come to continue walking.
Overview
What if the Christian life does not begin with a leap into the dark, but with a clear gaze into light?
What if faith is not first a work of striving, but the simple act of beholding Christ?
Behold the Way is a reflective-pilgrim journey into the heart of the Christian life. It begins where Scripture begins: with the lifted-up Son who calls us to look and live. From there it unfolds a rhythm that carries the believer through meaning, suffering, calling, glory, and love.
-
Behold the Gospel: meaning received, not manufactured.
-
Behold the Cross: suffering as the shape of true life.
-
Behold the Call: Christ’s summons, false callings unmasked, the cross embraced, all unto Soli Deo Gloria.
-
Behold the Glory: knowledge of God revealed in the face of Christ.
-
Behold and Love: the fruit of beholding—love poured out, love received, love returned.
Through poetic reflection, Scriptural meditation, and a pilgrim’s honesty, this book seeks to uncover how beholding Christ changes everything. It exposes the false callings that lure us into control and conquest, and it re-centers the reader in the true calling: to behold, to love, and to glorify.
This is not a manual for fixing the world. It is a guide for those who walk amid ruins, longing to see rightly, to live faithfully, and to keep their eyes fixed on the One who is the Way.
